AN ACT

RELATING TO MAGISTRATE COURT; ESTABLISHING A RIDING CIRCUIT TO CHAPARRAL IN OTERO COUNTY.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. Section 35-1-22 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1968, Chapter 62, Section 24, as amended) is amended to read:

     "35-1-22. MAGISTRATE COURT--OTERO DISTRICT.--There shall be two magistrates in Otero magistrate district, divisions 1 and 2 operating as a single court in Alamogordo and shall rotate riding circuit to Chaparral on a regularly scheduled basis."
