AN ACT

MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION FOR THE NEW MEXICO FINANCE AUTHORITY TO CARRY OUT THE PURPOSES OF THE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CAPITAL FUND, PRIMARY CARE CAPITAL FUND AND CHILD CARE FACILITY REVOLVING LOAN FUND.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATIONS.--

          A. The following amounts are appropriated from the general fund to the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2026 and subsequent fiscal years:

                (1) twenty-five million dollars ($25,000,000) for the New Mexico finance authority to carry out the purposes of the Behavioral Health Capital Funding Act;

                (2) twenty-five million dollars ($25,000,000) for the New Mexico finance authority to carry out the purposes of the Primary Care Capital Funding Act; and

                (3) ten million dollars ($10,000,000) for the New Mexico finance authority to carry out the purposes of the Child Care Facility Loan Act.

          B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balances remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
