AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF WESTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY TO CREATE AND SUPPORT A MEN'S BASEBALL PROGRAM.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of western New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal years 2026 and 2027 to create and support a university men's baseball program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2027 shall revert to the general fund.
