FOR THE LEGISLATIVE FINANCE COMMITTEE
AN ACT
RELATING TO STATE RESERVES; PROVIDING THAT STATE RESERVES SHALL CONSIST OF CERTAIN FUNDS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. A new section of Chapter 6, Article 4 NMSA 1978 is enacted to read:
"[NEW MATERIAL] STATE RESERVES.--The state reserves consist of the:
A. appropriation contingency fund;
B. general fund operating reserve;
C. government results and opportunity expendable trust;
D. state-support reserve fund; and
E. tax stabilization reserve."
