AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE FOR INCREASED OPERATIONAL COSTS ATTRIBUTABLE TO INCREASING NUMBERS OF CLIENTS SERVED BY THE DEPARTMENT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred million dollars ($100,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the workforce solutions department for expenditure in fiscal year 2026 and subsequent fiscal years to provide for increased operational costs attributable to increasing numbers of clients served by the department. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
