SENATE BILL 492
57th legislature - STATE OF NEW MEXICO - first session, 2025
AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY TO DEVELOP IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE OTHER FOUR-YEAR PUBLIC POST-SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AN ONLINE ENROLLMENT HUB.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Forty million dollars ($40,000,000) is appropriated from the government results and opportunity program fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal years 2026 through 2028 to develop in conjunction with the other four-year public post-secondary educational institutions an online enrollment hub. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2028 shall revert to the government results and opportunity program fund.
