AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TO CONTRACT FOR MASTER PLANNING FOR PERMANENTLY AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN THE CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal years 2026 and 2027 to contract for master planning for permanently affordable housing on publicly owned undeveloped properties within the Sawmill district in the city of Albuquerque. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2027 shall revert to the general fund.
